jin would never tell them if anything bad happened to him. jin is that kind of person that would rather suffer in silence than have the people around him be worried about him. he’s also the type to ignore people when they fuck with him bc he doesn’t have time to deal with that when he’s got ppl to feed and mother over he’s just super mature like that. 

lock himself in his room. it’d only be a reminder that jungkook should never get attached. people leave so easily. each time one of them came knocking at his door it would be another muffled “go away, leave me alone” 

after a while, they’d stop. jungkook wants to be alone. let’s give him space. 

the only one who wouldn’t stop would be jimin. he’d come knock every day no matter how many times jungkook yelled at him to go away. he’d sit on the doorstep of the cabin and tell jungkook he’s not leaving until jungkook opens the goddamn door and he’ll fucking sleep out of here if that’s what it takes.

jungkook’s father is a military general so he spent most of his childhood moving around. jungkook’s good with his body having spent his childhood around other soldiers and exercising with them/with his father. he has a fear of becoming attached bc he’s moved around so much and had to break off so many friendships and so rather than learning how to quickly make friends with ppl his age, he’s more withdrawn and so only really hangs out with adults who are mature enough to reach out to him first. 

yoongi was a rebellious kid. his mom is super liberal so she didn’t really care if yoongi didn’t do to well in school or whatever so yoongi was just like fuck it and slept in his classes if he went or skipped altogether to go make music and stuff. he’s not much of a fighter honestly but his resting bitch face, fuck it all attitude, and constant absences somehow give birth to a scary reputation. honestly yoongi’s more like a grumpy cat. 

namjoon’s the opposite. he’s a good kid. his dad’s an academic and namjoon goes to class and attempts to read books from his dad’s library. his dyslexia makes it hard for him to read but namjoon still likes words better than anything else. he especially admires the way rappers can twist words into raps with rhythm and flow and meaning and so he kinda tries to emulate them by dying his hair and making his own raps. paired with his disheveled uniforms (bc namjoon can’t wake up early ever and bc he just can’t be bothered to look proper), namjoon always gives off the impression that he’s a delinquent when in reality he’s a giant nerd

seokjin is like his father, soft and quiet. he goes to school like a good kid, studies some, comes home, does homework, makes dinner for the both of them, and then eats with his father while discussing his day. seokjin never discusses anything negative with his father tho. he treats the burns he gets from cooking by himself, doesn’t tell his father about the kids who mocked him for not having a mom, doesn’t tell his father he saw the notice about the rent going up because he doesn’t want his father to worry about seokjin in any way. seokjin’s a good kid really, a good kid who keeps a lot of secrets. 

taehyung is the class clown. everyone loves him. he’s funny, he’s goofy, he does magic tricks for them. teachers have love-hate relationships with him. he does okay in school, not terribly bad but nowhere near close to the top. tae’s just got a knack for knowing people. teachers hate him bc he’s always goofing around and disrupting classes but after a stressful day they sometimes come back to their desk and there’s a single snickers bar on their desk with a post it note that says “sorry i’ll be quieter next time, love taetae :)” and it’s always a lie bc taehyung is never quiet but a smile somehow appears and the day isn’t so shitty. 

hoseok is like taehyung at school, loved and beloved. he’s not as goofy as taehyung but he gets them laughing all the same just because he’s so bright and cheerful all the time and his laugh infectious. he does okay in school for someone with dyslexia and everyone always offers to help him when he doesn’t get it. at home, it’s a different story. hoseok’s mom is constantly complaining about him and hoseok takes it with a smile always because he knows deep down his mom probably loves him but sometimes it hurts. really really hurts. he cries himself to sleep sometimes but every morning, he wakes up, tells his mother he loves her, and heads off to school with a smile.
