This year you were going to spend Christmas night with the Hood, lol. You were pretty nervous, although you know them for 3 years, but this is a special holiday. This was the first time that you didn’t spent Christmas with your family, in your house or in your country.

"Darling, you’ll be okay" Calum said to you when you got into the car. You sighed.

"I hope" He kissed your cheek gently and drove to his parents’ house.

When you finally arrived at the house, you could tell he was a little bit anxious, but didn’t know why.

"Go ahead, I’ll carry the gifts" He said and you got out of the car, walked to the door and touched the doorbell. Calum stood behind you and the door got opened. It was Mali.

"Angel! Merry Christmas" She shouted and hugged me. She was so loving. "How you doing?"

"Merry Christmas for you too, I’m great, thank you, and you?" I smiled

"I’m perfect."

I walked into the house, Mali hugged and kissed Calum on the cheek, then closed the door.

"Angel, love" Calum’s mother came from the kitchen and hugged me. "Merry Christmas, I’m so glad you’re here."

"Thank you, Merry Christmas for you too."

The dinner they had was so different from the one you had at your country. But you had to ate it because you didn’t want anyone to feel bad. Ánd after dinner, you headed to the living to open the gifts. You all had to buy presents for everybody.

You had been able to save some money to buy some nice souvenirs from your country for them, but for Calum you bought him some DROP DEAD tees and a beanie. He was so greatful.

And then, it was your turn to open your presents. Mali gave you some cute nail polish Calum knew you wanted. His mother got you an australian recipe book and his father a CD of your fave band. You were more than greatful, you probably never had obtained many presents on Christmas Day.

And then was Calum’s gift. It was on a small box with a beautiful white bow and vintage wrapping paper. You looked at him, carefully unwrapping it, because you didn’t wanted to destroy the paper, and you got a small black box.

Your heart skipped a beat and secretly breathed deep. And opened it. A beautiful gold ring with a little diamond in a heart shape in the center. Tears filled your eyes and you stood up.
