missing her (pixton pre-2020 rebrand and the subsequent wiping of a decade's worth of art and storytelling)

#pixton #there were aspects of the community that were fucked #and i wouldn't necessarily want to go back to it #but i do get a little sad sometimes thinking about old comic series i used to read or the absolutely incredible artists #who pushed the comic making engine to its limits #and how all of that is just #gone #because the devs decided that they could make more money from apps and marketing to schools #and completely threw the people who made their site and engine what it is (and who had been paying for it for years) under the bus #not quite nostalgia hours but perhaps reminiscing
