The feeding behaviors of Pixiula is made up of 4 aspects: Mode of Ingestion, Mode of Digestion, Food Type, and Storage Behavior.Â
The First aspect of Pixiula feeding behavior is the Mode of Ingestion, with Pixiula being both Bulk Feeders (obtaining nutrients by consuming most of a organism), and Fluid Feeders (obtaining nutrients by consuming another organisms fluids).
The next aspect of Pixiula feeding behavior is the Mode of Digestion or how there body brakes down what they eat to turn into usable resources. The Pixiula bodies Mode of Digestion is Extra-cellular digestion, witch is excreting digesting enzymes to brake down food and then reabsorbing the products.
Food Type or Diet Type of Pixiula is the third aspect of there feeding behavior, with Pixiula Being Polyphagy witch means they are able to eat a verity of foods. Pixiula are Omnivores with them eating a mix of animals, plants, & fungi, more specifically they are Mesocarnivore: (meaning there diet is only made up of 30–70% meat).
Last part of Pixiula feeding behaviors is Storage Behavior, Pixiula's have a base instinct of Food Hording and Pixiula also participate in Shared Food Hording where a group (often family) has a shared food storage area that almost all members add on to. In current day the Food Hording instinct is useful in pushing Pixiula to always have a good storage of food witch has helped them survive
Pixiula are Omnivore species and has a diet that is made up of a mix of: Nuts, Grains, Berries, Fruits, Bark, Plant Sap, Herbs, Root Vegetables, Beans, Flowers, Mushrooms, Mushroom Sap, Cacti, Insects, Insect Produce (Honey & Honeydew) Meat (red, white, & fish), & Eggs. thought how much of each kind of food item is eaten veriest somewhat from one group of Pixiula from another.
A quick side note but Pixiula are completely Lactose Intolerant as they are not mammals and so never had a need for milk nor developed a liking for it.
Pixiula have certain foods that they prefer the taste of with Pixiula splitting flavor types into 7 groups, the list of flavor types are: Sweet, Sour, Bitter, Savory, Salty, Spicy, and Chilled. Note Chilled is a flavor that is like the cool fresh feel one gets from mint.
The Sweet Flavor is a very popular one and is mainly made up of the following food items: Berries, Fruit, Plant Sap, Herbs, Beans, Flowers, Mushrooms, Mushroom Sap, Honey, & Honeydew.
The Sour Flavor is another popular one among Pixiula, with the following food items having a sour flavor: Grains Berries, Fruit, Herbs, Flowers, Mushrooms Sap, Insects, Honeydew.
The Bitter Flavor is well liked flavor for Pixiula, with the following food items having such a flavor: Fruit, Plant Sap, Herbs, Root Vegetables, Mushrooms Sap, Insects, & Honeydew.
The Savory Flavor is one that is well liked by Pixiula and it is one that is made up by the following food items: Nuts, Grains, Fruit, Bark, Root Vegetables, Beans, Mushrooms, Honey, Insects, Meat, & Eggs.
The Salty Flavor is a less well liked flavor and is some what seen as a odd taste, with the following food items having such a flavor: Nuts, Grains Bark, Herbs, Root Vegetables, Beans, Mushrooms, Mushroom Sap, & Meat.
The Spicy Flavor is not a popular flavor and is considered an acquired taste by Pixiula, with the following food items having a spicy flavor: Nuts, Grains, Berries, Fruit, Herbs, Root Vegetables, Beans, & Insects.
The Chilled Flavor is another well liked flavor thought it is one used sparingly as it can be over powering, the kind of food items that have such a flavor includes: Berries, Fruit, Herbs, Beans, Flowers, Honey, & Honeydew.

Pixiula have developed several methods of preserving foods so that they stay fresh for longer. Methods of food preservation that Pixiula use include: Chilling/Freezing, Drying/Dehydrating, Smoking, Pickling, Fermenting, Glazing, Salting, Sugaring, and Jam-making.
Pixiula have a few different methods of processing food into different forms, with some of the methods overlapping with cretin type of food preservation. The methods of food processing includes: Grinding, Crushing, Mashing, Juicing, Fermenting, Smoking, Drying/Dehydrating, Glazing, Salting, Sugaring, Souring, Jam-making, Sauce-making, Poaching, Boiling, Steaming, Roasting, Baking, and Frying.
