My Pixar Hot Takes! 🔥
• I prefer the more cartoony style of 3d animation (Luca, Turing Red) over the hyper realistic style (TS4, Lightyear, Soul).
• Elemental was a simple yet adorable slice-of-life film. Not every one of their movies has to be groundbreaking to be good.
• Cars 3 wasn’t bad, it was just boring.
• The opening to Up never made me cry… but it was still sad. The scene with Carl reading through the fulled scrapbook actually did.
• I love the two Incredibles movies equally; yes the villain was the weakest part of the second but still.
• This might be my dinosaur bias, but The Good Dinosaur is a sweet, simple story which shouldn’t deserve so much hate.
• Never will I understand the Pixar theory. I believe some fans take Easter eggs and cameos in Pixar films a little too far.
• Forky is like the worst character Pixar has ever made.
• Bloopers/outtakes were hilarious and all, but I’m kinda glad they stopped as they would’ve become unoriginal overtime.
• There shouldn’t have been a villain in Coco. It really should’ve the dynamic between the family the main obstacle, and Ernesto should’ve been just a person with his own flaws.
(Disney’s Encanto did this later on and much better)
