Hi! So I was just wondering about something. I’ve been in and out of hospitals for a little over 7 years, and most of the time (if not every time) I need to get an IV. Sadly, I usually have incredibly difficult veins. They roll, and more often than not they need to call up an anaesthetist. Now, I’ve started mentioning it to whichever nurse who tries first that I tend to have difficult veins. Should I stop doing that? Does it get annoying, or make it more difficult for the nurse? I know I’ll end up in the hospital again sometime in the future, and I don’t want to make the nurses’ job more difficult than it already is.
