but yeah, i read it out of order too! basically my parents saw the battle of the labyrinth in a bookshop and bought it for my 9th birthday (wow...that is just...so long ago) not realising it was part of a series. so i read it first and was pretty quickly engrossed and then i read it in order.Ā
i actually donāt think it made for a worse reading experience actually, it was kind of fun seeing how things got to where they were in the battle of the labyrinth (i remember wondering where tyson was for the first book and then when rachel appears for like one page in the titanās curse i was like SHEāS REALLY IMPORTANT GUYS!!)Ā

Iāve already made a couple of friends, and everyone else seems really friendly! Plus one of the girls is someone I used to go to school with so it was nice to see her ā it kind of eased my nerves.
My tutorās really nice and made sure to check on me throughout the day ā which I really wasnāt expecting. I mean, she knew about my anxiety but I didnāt think sheād take time to pull me aside and make sure I was okay.
The only kinda awkward downside was a woman from the collegeās sexual health clinic trying to pressure me into taking a chlamydia test?? I mean... itās a bit of a weird way to bond with your new friends...

hiatus
[ this is a queued post. ] hi! over the next few days (and most probably, the next week), I'm going to be extremely busy with a lot of real life stuff, and just mentally I've been doing awful and tumblr has not been helping that at all. you can still reach me on my snapchat and my instagram if you have it (and if you want to reach me, feel free to ask my friends for one or the other) but it's tumblr specifically that's becoming a toxic place as I have been using it more as a diary than a social platform, resulting in lots and lots of arguments, which is inexcusable on my end, and is ending up bringing out the worst in others, too. so, to maybe hit the reset button, I'm going on hiatus. I'll definitely be back, but I will be deleting the app from my devices so that a) I don't give in and check it, and b) nobody in real life finds my blogs in the process of all this moving and whatnot lmao. please feel free to (in fact I encourage you to) reblog this to spread the word!
