Jake has never seen a comet, not even a shooting star. The whole concept of them kind of freaks him out though. Floating space rocks? Rocking towards other space rocks? And then he starts to think about how the Earth is just a floating space rock and we are nothing but particles, floating along on the floating space rock that’s floating around in space. And what is the meaning of life? Why are we all here on this floating space rock? And we’re all just going to trust that the sun isn’t going to blow up? And space is so endless, what’s up with that? Is there other life out there? Or it is just us here on Earth? So many questions, steamed from something so simple as a comet. Jake doesn’t like comets. 

Once upon a time Raven was called a prude and she burst out laughing. While she herself has only had sex once in her life, Raven is not easily shocked by anything, let alone sexual things. No, she’d rather not run around naked or do sexual things with just anyone, but that has nothing to do with her being a prude, she’s just selective. There is nothing wrong with keeping such things to yourself or hidden, as Raven states, it’s her personal business no one else’s. 

It was silly to think, but sometimes she thought Tara was an omen. Obviously the blonde saw all their flaws and thought they outweighed the good. Was it only a matter of time before the rest of the group crumbled, too?

Bella doesn’t really feel guilty about any of her pleasures. One of the stranger things she does when she’s bored is read missed connections on Craigslist. For some reason, she likes imaging these hopeless people finding their “missed connection” and finding their happy ending with them. Also, it’s just interesting the places where you can meet the one...

Bella always makes sure to read directions, thanks to Becca. However, they doesn’t mean she always understands them. She’ll often misinterpret them, especially if it’s all words. God forbid she skips over a word or doesn’t know what it means, Bella will be hopefully lost. She’ll do something wrong or just begin to confuse everyone else. It’s safe to say Bella should not be the navigator in any road trip.

It really doesn’t take much to make Bella laugh. As long as it’s at no one’s expense, she’ll find it amusing. However, certain jokes can go over her head (IE: sexual jokes or history jokes). Her favorite kind of jokes are puns and simple one liners, especially if they involve animals.

Her father finding her, people finding out too much about her past, losing her friends. Being alone.
