                   She allowed her eyes to close as the girl's   hands ran over her fur, a content growl escaping.    At the suggestion of ‘ keeping ’ her, her eyes opened   to stare at the child, doubtful that her parents would   be fine with having a large wolf as a pet. Especially    since said wolf didn't plan on staying in this form for   another full moon. Or becoming a house pet, for that   matter.

   With the little girl having wrapped her arms around his legs the shadow couldn’t help but let out another small chuckle. Just seeing that grin on her face was enough to keep him satisfied for the rest of the day. “So you were the flower princess? I should’ve known you were behind it. No one is as sweet as you after all.”

   Putting his hand into his pocket the shadow played along. “Oh. What’s this?” With a small chuckle he pulled out the small flower, looking down on it with a tiny smile visible on his lips. So this was what his daughter put in his pocket. How cute. “Now who coulda done somethin’ like this? Maybe a pocket fairy?”
