okay the pen axe is genuinely cool
"Make your deadline, or you'll never be able to hold a pen again." (Piniet)
(from The Owl House, S1E11: "Sense and Insensitivity")
Piniet had a new scheme going to fill his briefcase with cubed captives. One of the teachers at Hexside quit mid-semester so they were hasty to fill the replacement spot. He laid low for a time, built his reputation as a trustworthy face, and then started keeping one student after class every few days. By the time he went home for the night, he had a new cube in his briefcase. He had managed to collect ten before Principal Bump started to get wise.
Bump marched in front of his soldiers, shoulders set back and determination blazing in his eyes. "Students have been going missing. As of now, ten. And all my spells lead to our new teacher. So, I am trusting you kids with this mission."
Willow, Guz, Viney, Jerbo, and Barcus all stood there. The first one held up her hand. He nodded, allowing her to ask her question. "Uh, where's Luz? And Amity?" Honestly, it made sense they would be here too.
He sighed at the mention of the missing soldiers. "Ms. Noceda is currently visiting her grandmother. All of the Blight siblings are out sick So, I need you to go in without them. Find out if this man is a correct lead, find out what he is doing, and report back to me." Bump finally came to a stop, just in time for Gus to hold up a hand. "Yes?"
"What should we do if he's the one doing something."
Okay. Time to make this clear. "Report back to me. If he is doing something dangerous, I don't want any of you caught up in the crossfire." It was ridiculous that he trusted these kids more than the actual teachers to find the source of the problem. He didn't need them getting more into danger.
Hopefully, Luz being gone would cut down on it. (Not that he blamed her for it. But it always seemed that she got caught up in every incident here.)
He made sure to look each one in the eye.
"No. Heroes. Got it?"
They all nodded. He sighed in relief.
"Good. Now, report to class. And be careful."

Tiny Nose’s Story: According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don’t care what humans think is impossible. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Ooh, black and yellow! Let’s shake it up a little. Barry! Breakfast is ready! Coming! Hang on a second. Hello? Barry? Adam? Can you believe this is happening? I can’t. I’ll pick you up. Looking sharp. Use the stairs. Your father paid good money for those. ... ... ...
Piniet: It’s-- It’s beautiful.
The Owl House, Season 1, Episode 11, “Sense and Insensitivity,” First Impressions!
Oh ho ho, now this? This I have lots to say about!
My take on Piniet from the Owl House. I liked his design, so decided to take a stab at it. A cunning creature who knows how to hide the fine print, and exploits dreams.
