Back to some pinhole work. I am starting off my posting something that looks, possibly, completely abstract. Trees on the hillside. Trees on a snowy hillside, to be more precise. I shot this while standing on my wee little balcony at the Professor's Hut (@theprofessorshut ) in Manali. I thought, I think, I will end 2019 with a self portrait. I took this when i was at the Nature Park in Manali. It was late and below freezing. This is a digital pinhole image. I had to push my aging Nikon D200 to ISO 1600 and take a 30 second exposure. The most difficult part, was standing still for 30 seconds. For the next two days, i am posting photos I took at the end of the day. I was on this huge divider in the centre of the road. It used to be a two way road. Not now, so there is enough scope for confusion. These people were waiting for their bus. I have never done street photography with a "pinhole camera", digital or otherwise. It's surreal. It almost seems to come from another world.
