Driving Home
The NYE trip came to close and we had to leave before the snow got so bad that we couldn’t drive home.
It was a beautiful drive home. There is a stretch of road through the Salt River Canyon which is very beautiful but very wind-y with switchbacks up the side of the mountain. It can be a bit daunting but fortunately it wasn’t icy or too snowy which made it an easy ride.
In snow or sun the southwest landscape is always a nice view so any length of drive passes quickly. Especially the four hours.
