Pinestar, formally known as pinefall, was the previous leader before logbelly. He was a large cat but more on the chill side, always trying to find a peaceful way to resolve things. He fell in love with the meadowclan deputy, springleap. The two had a very secret relationship. The two managed to keep it secret until briarclan deputy logbelly found out. At first logbelly seemed angry but he soon, instead, started trying to warn them to keep it quiet and eventually became a friend to springleap. Pinestar would end up dying in a border skirmish after trying to resolve a fight between two patrols. The fight turned on him and turned physical, resulting in pinestar loosing a life and later loosing his final life from infection not 5 days later. Unknown to him, he and springleap, now known as springstar, had together had a kit named viperkit, who looked almost exactly like her father. Later he would be seen present at his daughter's naming ceremony and gift her the life of peace.
