Here’s my team card for ArtFight this year! All of BriarClan is included, but I have a lot of fondness for LionRipple and GlowPaw so I decided to add them as the featured characters. I didn’t have time to make any new drawings like I did last year, but I like my older art anyways. If you know about my other clan that I’ve been posting, @ridgeclan-a-mega-clan, all characters posted there are also included on my profile :)
A little hint, I prioritize revenges against attacks on characters that don’t have more than 2 attacks. So. Most of them really.

Sorry I haven't been as active here, I am trying to get through this next piece, but I only just finished my classes yesterday so it's been a bit harrowing trying to get anything done. I should have some time to finish writing it and get back to normal moons in between things. This last piece of the gathering should be an interesting one :))
The Gathering began as normal, with the leaders talking about prey and introducing new apprentices. However…..
"If that is all there is to be shared, then I'd like for BatClan to take our leave. The trek back to the mountains is long-" WisteriaStar began, but was interrupted by a loud yowl from the back of the gathered cats. "No! You can't-" A young tom gasped out as he forced his way through the crowd, head down and panting as he stood trembling in front of the leaders. WisteriaStar's eyes narrowed as he looked down at the tom.
"SleekBerry, you were told to stay back at camp." He said slowly, and SleekBerry bristled.
"I won't stay in camp when you've refused to acknowledge that something is WRONG! You ignore the black water, the dying prey, the- the illness-" SleekBerry yelled, though he refused to look up at his leader."SleekBerry, that's enough-" WisteriaStar started to reprimand the tom, but BoughStar stepped in. "Now, Wisteria, why don't you let the poor fellow talk? If there's an illness, then it may affect all of us." BoughStar asked, but it was clear that she wasn't actually giving him a choice. As the one who'd been a leader the longest, she was given more respect in cases where others might've been yelled at or snubbed for daring to interfere in another clan's personal business. WisteriaStar backed down, but there was a glint in his eye that spoke of how frustrated he was.
"I, there's been so much black water appearing in our pools, our drinking water is contaminated. It started appearing just after BriarClan came to us, and i want answers, please. Anything, I'll take any scrap i can get if it means an answer for what's happening to us." SleekBerry's voice seemed almost feeble as he begged for answers. The young tom finally looked up, and the surrounding cats gasped and backed away from him.
SoulStar felt eyes on him as he stared at the young tom, the fur on the back of his neck prickling with unease.
Ugh I'm sorry I haven't posted anything lately. College is kicking my ass. But I persist, I hope to have something out before the end of the semester, which is mid April for me.

Totally not related to anything coming up, but polls can affect anything, not just the immediate. They can affect whether or not someone might join later on or if a clan will trust BriarClan/any one cat, or if someone sees something they shouldn:t.

How aware are the clans?
BatClan: WisteriaStar says there's nothing wrong, and most of his warriors believe him. However, there's some who know that something is in the water that's best to be avoided. Awareness- 38/100
BurnClan: BoughStar has seen black water in pools, and has seen prey with weird spiraling mutations, but nothing that has really caused concern. She has cautioned to stay away from the black water, just in case. GhostFlow has only just seen that something is wrong, and has not had the chance to share his knowledge. Awareness-12/100
SweetClan: FrostStar has only been in control for a little while, but he's made it his job to make sure no one asks about what's going on with the weird water or prey that's started to be found shredded just outside of the camp. Awareness-25/100
BriarClan: Everyone has seen something that can't be explained, but no one has any answers as to where all of this is coming from. But some cats seem to know more than others. Awareness-60/100.
