going through my Lightroom catalogue I thoroughly enjoy going through pictures that tell a story, this chaps was at the 2014 Great Dorset Steam Fair on the 100th Anniversary of the 1st World War, the show decided to add their own commemoration and did so by inviting Tank's, vehicles and volunteers from Covington Tank Museum and other rein-actors and dug out massive trenches. The display was rather moving and in the true spirit of the anniversary the show ground was awash with MUD, very fitting! Anyway this kind gentleman agreed to pose for this photograph as he guided people through the temporary trenches, the show have agreed to keep the display for a believe 5 years so do go along and see it if you get the chance this year and hopefully it'll be dry!
