Re handled pruning knife .
This slipjoint pruning knife used to belong to my wife’s great Aunt but had horrid red plastic scales .
Ive re handled it in Devon oak burl which I cut from an old downed oak many years ago and have sealed the splits in the wood with copper dust / epoxy mix with orange G-10 liners .

Love using this post war slip joint I cleaned and pimped up . I picked up at last years Knives UK show from @ironhoarder.
Its a made in Germany Whale Cutlery Co in magnetic forged steel so prob made in the 1950′s with great character stag scales and one of the best springs Ive come across in an old slippie .
