âYouâre kidding!â Poe laughed as he wrapped his arm aroundhis boyfriendâs waist. âWith all the years you spent at the University younever played Never have I ever?â
âJust because you and your pilot friends partied every othernight in school, doesnât mean everyone did,â Hux huffed in response. âI appliedmyself to my education. Itâs why I have 3 doctorates. Anyways it sounds childishand slightly barbaric.â
Poe laughed harder, and pulled his taller, ginger boyfriendto a stop. He wasnât sure how he actually talked Hux into accompanying him toSnapâs party just like he wasnât sure how he managed to land the brilliantAncient Historian with his focus on Naval Battles. (It had definitely takentime and effortâŚand the ability to prove the man wrong from time to time.) Herounded on the man, wrapping his other arm around him.  He grinned up at the scowling face.
âIâm sure youâd be amazing at it. See the premise is-â
âI know what the premise of the game is.â
âSo you see why youâd be amazing at it?â
âOne, I donât particularly care to do well at a game thatpoints out all the things I havenât done in my life. Two, just what makes youthink I am so inexperienced that I wouldnât be as inebriated as the rest ofyour pilots?â
Hux raised an eyebrow at his shorter boyfriend.
âWell, we have been dating for a year, and in all thestories youâve told me of your time in boarding school and university, I havenâtheard anything to make me think youâd get very drunk playing Never have I ever.â
âWell, I couldnât tell you everything about my past. Youmight go digging and find evidence that will prove me wrong again. Also, weâvebeen dating for ten months.â
Hux, not usually one for public displays of affection, surprised Poe by following his lead and wrapping arms around hisshoulders. Â Poe pulled him closer.
âI happen to count those first couple months you wereplaying hard to get. I mean we did go onâŚohâŚtwenty dates during that time. Ifthatâs not datingâŚâ
âAh, see there? Youâve proven me wrong again.â
Huxâs scowl had gradually turned into a smile, and he leaneddown to capture Poeâs own smile in a kiss.
âYou like it that much when I prove you wrong?â
âOh, I hate it, but Phasma says itâs good for me to beproven wrong from time to time. Just donât get too used to it.â
âI havenât yet.â Poeâs eye brightened then. âHmmmâŚwe could alwaysplay a different version.â
âOf what? Never have Iever?â
âRight, but instead of taking a drink of somethingâŚwe could,oh, I donât know, remove an article of clothingâŚor kiss somewhereâŚâ
âAnd youâre expecting me to do that in front of your pilotfriends, are you? OH GOD! Please tell me you donât intend to play that way withthose people.â
Poe laughed again. He withdrew from their shared embrace andgrabbed Huxâs hand. Then turned and started heading back towards his car.
âOf course not!â he laughed. âIâll text Snap in a bit, andlet him know we decided to stay in.â He stopped again and turned in front ofHux to block him. âIâll start. Never have I ever gotten used to proving my gorgeous, brilliant, genius of a boyfriend wrong.â
âSo which one of us kisses and which one of us removes anarticle of clothing?â Hux asked wickedly. He started to think he could definitelyenjoy this version of the game.
