also you'll have to avoid swimming pools or lakes or the sea and stuff, like with any other piercing, and it'll probably be a little sore for a while, like if anything gets in contact with it or a piece of hair gets stuck, it'll be either comfortable or straight up hurt, so ya gotta be careful! since it's a hole in your cartilage it will take a couple of months to heal completely:)

it actually didnt get infected whereas my lobe piercings did! idk if it was because my helix was done with a needle and not a gun like my lobe piercings, or the titanium earring it was pierced with but it worked ashdksl

around the piercing it will get like a kind of swollen red thing but its normal dw, i would just advise using a cotton bud and salt water to cleanse the piercing twice a day, and the swelling thing will go down after the healing period (which rlly freaked me out cos it was like 3 months omg). ooh dont twist the earring when u clean it either :) apparently its better to get it pierced with a barbell/stud than a hoop cos its easier to heal but idk,, titanium earring are v good though!

Well, I have got helix piercing myself, and the most useful advice is Do not sleep on this freshly made piercing! That will be painful af! Also please ask your piercing master to give you a piece of advice about piercing's material, because some can be a source of horrible allergy. Also, ask about how you should clear the piercing: I was wetting it with special medical liquid.

ooh don't sleep on the side of the piercing!! make sure the earring you get is secure, i got a double helix piercing and one of them unscrewed in the night and closed up immediately. take paracetamol/ ibuprofen after cos it will ache. the actual piercing itself is really not that painful though :)
