I think I have a granuloma on the inside of my lip. It just sprouted from nowhere today. It presses right against the piercing plate so I assume it's caused by irritation. It doesn't hurt at all, but it looks and feels so gross. I've emailed my piercing studio for advice but I hope it just self heals and is not cancerous or something. I don't dare fiddling with or removing my piercing on my own in case I make things worse.

Piercer Problems
Trying to explain to people that they cant have their captive bead ring/ seamless ring/ continuous ring "hug" their nostril because of the placement of their piercing. Then they get pissed and want to try to buy/wear a 5/16" KNOWING that its too small for them, but its small so they "have to have it" Ok, vent over.
at this rate I will have no more replacement ends for my tongue.
Since I took out my nipple rings, I am now worried that some kind of abscess will form. Considering they've been out like 12 hours and already look too narrow to fit any jewelry, I'm a bit concerned. They weren't infected before, just irritated. I was going to do some salt water soaks, but since they look pretty closed, I don't know how effective they would be.

I don't know how old your post with the bleeding tunnel is but you should never take any piercing out that is or might is infected because the infection will be "in your skin" if the hole is closed and you can die if the bacteria goes into your blood veins. stuff like that. Hope everything is fine now.
I posted that about 2 days ago. I did not know that it was bleeding/possibly infected until I took out the jewelry.
My piercings are fully healed & have been for almost 3 years. So, it is normal practice (or at least should be) to take out the jewelry to clean them and because of that I didn’t expect to have, what has turned out to be, a tear of the skin inside of the stretched piercing.
It’s not infected, but in order for it to heal I have to remove the jewelry a few times a day to clean & take care of the wound.
*excuse the use of the word “wound”, I honestly cannot think of a better suited word at the moment.*
But, either way infected or not, I had to and have to remove the jewelry to clean the piercing. Yes, there is always a possibility of an infection spreading to your blood stream, but is highly unlikely. Same for dying due to a ear piercing.
