This is a tradigital drawing. 

One of the problems I've had with submitting work to deviantart is the fact that I have to pick a category. There is no mixture between traditional media (pencil, pen, charcoal, etc) and digital media. You basically have to pick one or the other. Consider this drawing, though; it was carefully drawn with pencil, inked with microns, scanned without alteration to the lines (except to correct some blur from scanning), and then colored digitally. 

So which is it? Traditional or digital? The lines are an important aspect of the image, but the color is equally as important, giving the figure some dimension. Which aspect is dominant in this image? Both.

So instead of picking between traditional media or digital media in accordance with the invisible pidgeonholing committee, I'm calling it tradigital.
