I would like to hear more about ur pokemon au (i have one myself and I always like seeing ones by others)

Like, why did you give them the pokemon u gave them and such, or reasons behind designs or maybe their pokemon personalities and relationships with their trainers ect.

I have a LOT to say about this ngl

Nene’s sneasel (Cleo) used to be sort of like a bodega cat, she lived with nene and her family for most of their lives before nene decided to bring her along for her Pokemon journey. Cleo doesn’t mind because she has always been a bit of a dastardly little thing and she loves hunting so it’s a perfect match.

Nene caught Pearlie a short while after her journey began while she was sealio watching. She immediately spotted her pink hue out of the crowd and absolutely HAD to catch her. It was a massive goose chase for nene and she would’ve given up before Pearlie decided to just gallump over and boop the pokeball. Nene basically carries Pearlie everywhere she goes and absolutely loves the thing. Later on she’ll evolve it into a sealio and ride her as a surf pokemon.

Later on she’ll catch a mawile but I haven’t drawn that one yet, just know that her mawile is like a huge nlog and basically hates nene at first because of how pink she is before eventually warming up to her.

As for pico he has QUITE a few mons, of course he has his grovyle (which can be found on his ref page) grovyle being his first partner Pokémon and being VERY protective of pico. They’re almost like brothers really

Grovyle is who he starts his journey with but later on he also catches a gaggle of dragon types including an axew, a vibrava an applin and a little swablu

The axew kinda caught himself, he’s always playing with pico and beating him up like head butting him and other playful and painful acts.

I don’t have a lot of lore for applin and vibrava but swablu is cool because she helps pico as a sleep aid, helping him with his insomnia and sometimes his paranoia and anxiety. Very sweet fluffy little bird and a perfect disability aid

The thought process behind nene’s team is that spheal is because she likes seals (and just look at her, little Pearlie) sneasel is from a little fun fact Dave gave on stream once, headcanoning nene’s favorite pokemon as weavile (and it fits her so y not) I always thought mawile fitted nene really well too so that’s why that’s on her team

its one of his favorite hobbies, he loves being able to show off his pokemon and their fire type moves

bf is one of his biggest rivals in the space and he absolutely hates him. he often argues that bf just uses his singing capabilities to get a boost and that he’s supposed to rely on the strength of his pokemon instead but bf just doesn’t give a fuck NEARLY as much as darnell does
