I just [watched??] Black Mirror: Bandersnatch (2018). Being a long-time lover of “pick-a-path” type stories and a visual person, I was very excited about the idea of a “pick-a-path” film.
**POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD**
The whole [film??] is very meta, I particularly liked this LSD conspiracy scene (I also enjoyed trying to explain the concept of Netflix to Stefan). The parallels between Stefan’s experience and the viewer’s were clever. Some choices make no difference, but that’s a part of the point. Oh, and I LOVED the cinematography and overall aesthetic of the film.
I really hope to see more story telling in this format—I’d be excited to see what other stories could be pulled off in this medium.
