Do any of your AUs have the Yiga Clan, or an Impa-like character in them?
Not really for both, but I did have ex-Yiga ocs for the first zelda au I ever made!!
I think I only mentioned the Hylia Possession au here only exactly once. It was a very rough idea that I'm not sure I'll go back to soon. But these two are from that au! putting it below a readmore because WOW this became longer than I intended-
The one on the left is Aren, she grew up in the Yiga clan but defected after being offered Delicious Soup by Aryll/Link's sister (it's deeper than that, but the soup was the main gesture). He now works as a postman and loves her job. Aren is also a half-demon due to a supposed curse on her bloodline. The "curse" was purified (not dispelled) after he spent a while collecting gratitude crystals.
Growing up among the Yiga, as well being half-demon, Aren's feelings towards the goddesses are indifferent at best and downright negative at worst. After the some stuff happens in the au, She begins to resent Hylia specifically, as well as the Master Sword. Ironically, he ends up being the Sage of Shadow in this era. Something which annoys her to no end.
The little guy next to him is Kie! Also a kid when he fell into the clutches of the Yiga clan. Aren knows what it's like to grow up in such an environment, so she tries to nudge Kie towards leaving the clan in small ways despite Kie's distrust of him. It works though! Aren lets Kie temporarily stay at her place until Kie figures out what to do next. Well, temporary became permanent. And now the two of them consider eachother family β They don't acknowledge it out loud and insist on referring to eachother as roommates. Kie decided to study medicine and works part-time at the local clinic. He also finds joy in foraging for wild plants that can be used for food/medicine. He still hasn't completely shaken off his old life though. He's still at least a little wary and cold towards anyone that isn't Aren.
There was supposed to be a third guy here: A white wolfos that Kie somehow befriended and can understand. It's the only other person Kie trusts fully; to the point that they have an agreement that the other person can eat them should one of them die.
The wolfos and Aren don't get along, but they try to tolerate eachother's presence lest they get scolded by Kie.

In your Au do you have plans for your own species to appear ? Like hybrids or different humanoid creatures.
idk which au you're referring to but uhhh going through all my loz aus, not really!
the biggest exception is in the Dirge of Daybreak au, maybe. The "dream eaters" and the enemy kingdom that invaded Hyrule in the previous era will be an original-ish species/kingdom :) ("ish" because the standard zelda mobs are also still involved)
The enemy kingdom (currently named Remm because im not creative when it comes to names), specifically its residents don't make too much of an appearance as of now outside of maybe like One Guy + the previous demon king, if he still counts. It's mostly the corrupted dream eater mobs that are present in the story
I wanted to ask when you make an oc of any kind do you take elements from your own life to build their design/personality?
oh all the time! sometimes it's as simple as aesthetics I like, sometimes I incorporate something deeper (even if I didn't originally mean to). You can probably figure out what's wrong with me just by looking at whatever's going with my ocs lmao
Okay what are some location around Edea that are strange or weird? Maybe like a junk pile with living robots or a place were gravity is weak and causes people to float. Also anything you want me to info dump?
My immediate thought was Edean Shadow's "Dying Hole" jfjdjsjs, not quite weird by itself but it definitely has a weird purpose
In the Black Arms homeland, probably next to the OG now-fused-to-the-landscape Black Comet, there's this guarded artificial cavern that's off-limits to everyone, even other Arms.
The cavern, is in fact, where Shadow goes to bury himself in a deep hole every century or two so he can "die" and biologically reset himself--like a soft reincarnation. The cavern itself has been turned from a freaky cavern with black tendrils sprawling through into...that but with Shadow's personal belongings. He's made a little space for himself down there over the centuries, it's quite nice. Has a mini-fridge in case he's reborn hungry/thirsty (/hj)
The cavern is also storage for his "memory eggs" which I don't think I talked about before but I'm tooo sleepy to elaborate now so ill save it or another time.

Will to info dump I had an idea to make the ring around BB's tail an AI robot called Orbit. It can create a hologram orb in the center to make it look more alive. Orbit is used for recon and data collection and is able to also create hologram maps. Orbit is playful and communicants in little noise.
oh my god that is so adorable π₯Ί I imagine BB wearing the ring all the time, so BB is always bringing his little buddy around everywhere....omg.... Would Orbit be something BB built and developed an AI fir by himself?

Can I ask when Yubi became a captain of his own creature control did he hand select his own team or was his team appointed to him?
Yubi is 17/18 and has been the squad's captain for about 2 years; though Yubi has been a CC guy since they were 14 (and was already an informal CC apprentice even before that).
As for their team, I imagine they had a little freedom in choosing. BB was personally handpicked by them because I imagined the two were already close friends and trained under the same veterans. Teo, Zodd, and Kron meanwhile were all appointed.
