Abandoned Grain Elevator
This structure is just two and a half miles east of Bement, Illinois—visible on the western horizon. Perusing a map from 1955 provides no name, if a town ever existed here.
A viewer on FB states that the siding may be named Piatt, which is the same name as the county. The rail line was once the Wabash Railroad, and is now part of the sprawling Norfolk Southern system.
