Closet Chronicles, Vol. 21: . This past weekend, Josh and I persevered. We got 1.5 doors installed!! And, though they weren’t the original design, they don’t look too shabby. . The plan for my swinging doors was to use soft close concealed hinges, but I made the door juuuuuust barely too thick.. 🙄🙄 off we went to Lowe’s and got some piano hinges. And honestly, it works perfectly!! Look how wide the door opens!! I was super relieved. We installed the first door and hinges without painting them black just to see if they’d work, but eventually the hinges will match the rest of the hardware. . We have a little more touch up paint to do, the handles are currently being shipped, we need to hang the closet rods, and then this project will be completed.
