Whenever Iām feeling a bit down, my go-to move is to watch some good olā āMurder, She Wroteā -- especially the episodes playing in the charming town of Cabot Cove. When Frankie released her gorgeous custom world Mirth, I was instantly reminded of Jessica Fletcherās hometown š
This is why I decided to create an elderly sim inspired by J.B. Fletcher: In my game sheās called Phyllis Hoppcraft and is a former teacher turned best-selling mystery writer and hobby sleuth. Currently, she has her niece Sophie living with her, who just finished her college degree and wanted to unwind a little in the quaint seaside town. Being the generous soul that she is, Phyllis is very supportive of her nieceās needs and ambitions, even though Sophie herself might not yet exactly know which directions she wants her life to take.
While staying with her aunt, Sophie has taken to try her luck as a street artist over at the Joshua Peabody Memorial Park by the waterfront. She usually paints landscapes but she wouldnāt mind doing some portraits of locals and tourists as well.
Aunt Phyllis meanwhile tends to the laundry and plants on her back porch.
