Back to uni and our first brief is to pick a machine and to create a 10-15 second animation in Photoshop using the timeline function. We watched a few animations dating back as far as the 1950's and the one I thought stood out was a comical, witty animation by Norman McLaren, called "Neighbours". It is a stop frame animation that combines pictures and sound made by scratching the film as the soundtrack.
Using the timeline function is a bit of a struggle and takes a lot of time. 1 second which is 25 frames took about 1,5 hours! Still going...
