Hello? Hello, hello? This is the third Phone Guy month!

August is Phone Guy month, and 2026 comes with a new format! Some of the talented folks over on the Phone Guy Discord server helped me out - .phonecrab. supported the shift to weekly and helped with eras, and artsygeek also supported the shift to the weekly format and helped me pick between the planned event graphics.

For this Phone Guy month, I opted for a weekly prompt instead of a daily one. Each week has two prompts: an Era and a Theme. Eras are just general ideas for timeframes, and Themes are the loose motifs. You can do a peice just for the Era prompt, you can do a peice just for the Theme prompt, or you can do a peice that combines both!

It's going to run from August 1st to August 31st, but I'll be honest, you can do this whenever the hell you want, don't let a silly timeframe panic you.

It's Phone Guy month but any of FNAF's human mentors are accepted, so Phone Guy, Phone Dude, Tape Girl, and Kim. (I'll also accept Dispatch as he sort of fills a similar ecological niche)

Art and fics are accepted.

Week 1 - Era: attempted franchise revival. Theme: Ghosts

This week's Era is 'attempted franchise revival', and this covers FNAF 1 and The Week Before. The last thralls of a franchise resturaunt trying to cling to life whilst their reputation runs down the drain.

This week's theme is Ghosts. The metaphorical ghosts of decisions made in the past, and the very real ghosts that are pupetering those animatronics.

Week 2 - Era: New and improved. Theme: Missing

This week's Era is 'New and improved', refering to the New and Improved Freddy Fazbear's Pizza of FNAF 2.

This week's theme is 'Missing'. … Where did they go?

Week 3 - Era: Vritual. Theme: Rumours

This week's Era is 'Vritual', refering to Virtual Relaity, because this week's era is Help Wanted 1. Tape Girl is this game's Phone Guy, but the phone calls from the original games also happen here, so you can have practically the whole phone crew together!

This weeks theme is Rumors. Things that Fazbear's likes to sweep under the rug. The things that Fazbear's has been trying to cover up by playing it off as fiction.

Week 4 - Era: Golden age. Theme: Naivety

This week's Era is 'Golden age'. Whilst I am refering to the litteral era of the golden springlock animatronics, covering the training tapes found in FNAF 3, this can also cover the very yellowish-green era of Fazbear's Frighst (the horror attraction) and Phone Dude.

The ghost of a purple bear is a common sight at Freddy's own 'Copycat' location: a place that is supposed to act as a mirror to the site where it all started, yet the corporate mandated fates always run off-course at every turn.

Redesigns for my FNAF 6 designs of Mike and Krasnyy. Because I didn't finish what I intended to finish for Phone Guy Month week 2. But it still counts because they are legally missing during FNAF 6, and the franchising stuff from FNAF 6 is Fazbear's attempting a revival.

It's so easy to go missing: just escape a train that's under siege from a bunch of animatronics that are actually built to kill, watch the train that you were on get destroyed by a Fazbear's freight train, check into a motel to rest for the night, and get woken up to the morning news reporting you as dead.

On second thought, that's a bizarre situation, but one that Krasnyy, Mike, Jeremy, and Fritz - the former guards of Freddy's Copycat location - all went through in 2004. Fortunately, after a few more encounters with the killer robots and the whole warehouse incident, they teamed up with a lady detective - Audrey - in order to infiltrate Fazbear's latest attempt at reviving their franchise: heavily discounted franchisee packages selling at an alarming rate. But the lady detective couldn't just hire four legally dead men, so they each came up with new names, but new names were not enough for Audrey, whom herself donned the fake name Aurora, so she also gave each of the guards a makeover, making them far more fashionable.

'Errands' Krasnyy Guy - now temporarily known as Krov Hawthorne - got kitted out with a crop top, cycling shorts, and heavy duty boots to compliment the fact that he'd be doing all of the sneaking around for 'Aurora'. He was allowed to grab a brown hoodie to feel more like himself without giving the game away. He also had to hide those injuries that he got during the warehouse incident, and that old scar down his neck, lest Fazbear's connect Krov's wounds to Krasnyy's.
