Le collectif Valparaiso a sorti un disque en septembre, et c'est incroyable le nombre de gens talentueux qui y contribuent : John Parish, Shannon Wright, Rosemary Stanley, Dominique A, Giant Sand… Valparaiso, port du Chili, comme une métaphore d'une escale pour artistes habités, hantés. C'est beau. Les chansons sont belles, lentes, traversées par une langueur moite et des instruments au “gros son”, comme planté, ancré dans l'histoire du folk américain. Cette vidéo m'a plu, particulièrement, avec la déambulation dans l'appartement déserté, et la belle voix de Phoebe Killdeer. Les oiseaux sauvages, ce sont les enfants, non ?
