Phocinian / Aconitan / Acrouran
(cinhood / conhood / rouhood)
A term for those who have experienced girlhood, boyhood, or childhood that was neither, regardless of their current or assigned gender. Additionally, terms for these experiences that don't use gendered language, for those that would prefer not to use them.
Examples of ways someone might use this term.
A phocinian transmasc who experienced a girlhood (cinhood) as a result of their lived experiences, and considers it important to them.
An aconitan bxy who feels as though it was always its gender, and therefore experienced a boyhood (conhood) despite not being raised as one.
An acrouran trans woman who didn't fit into the norms for boyhood, but also didn't identify as a girl, so feels like she experienced neither a boyhood nor a girlhood (rouhood).
Note that rouhood is not synonymous with enbyhood: it just describes a childhood that was not a boy- or girlhood, and can be used for many different gender experiences.
