          sophie  ellis-bextor’s  voice  croons  in  the  background  as  she  turns  to  the  younger,  the  brightness  of  her  beam  a  sharp  contrast  to  the  dark  tones  of  whatever  the  hell  it  is  that  they  just  watched.  “wasn’t  that  just  so  good  ?”  she  makes  out  in  hushed  awe  as  people  around  them  clamber  out  of  their  seats;  she’d  always  been  an  avid  moviegoer  and  now  was  no  different,  having  all  but  dragged  angel  to  the  closest  cinema  to  campus  upon  hearing  of  the  film’s  premiere.  “all  the  reviews  were  spot  on,  honestly  …  and  jacob  was  just  so  dreamy,  too  …”  there’s  a  moment  where  stella  lets  herself  get  caught  in  a  daydream  —  no  bath  water  included  —  before  making  her  way  back  to  reality,  practically  leaping  out  of  her  chair,  arm  outstretched  to  meet  the  other’s  hand;  the  smile  on  her  face  maintains  its  warmth.  “what  time’s  your  class  tomorrow,  baby  ?  we  should  get  dinner  or  something  —  you  can  tell  me  all  your  thoughts  !!”
