Day 28: Southside Cambodia

Today’s agenda: Kampot, Phnom Bokor, and Kep

My Aunt closed her shop, and my mom rented a car, and we had a family trip! Destination? Kep!

On the way, we stopped by Kampot for lunch and made a some tourist stops in Phnom Bokor: Bokor Hill Station, Popokvil Waterfall, Wat Sampove Pram and Lok Yeay Mao Monument. The last stop we made before Kep was at Tuek Chuu. We had a late lunch and rented out a bungalow by the river. We ate, lounge, and gambled a bit before heading to Kep.

We arrived in Kep around 5ish. The sunsets around 6ish, so we quickly made our way to the beach for a quick swim. We had dinner at a restaurant in a bungalow. When the sun finally, I couldn’t believe how dark it was. It was literally black. This is probably due to the lack of light pollution since there aren’t many street lights and places with lights on.
