The long awaited announcement is here. Phish has released their 2015 Summer Tour information and ticket requests are available now. This year, Phish’s tour will start in late July, following Trey Anastasio’s performance with the remaining members of the Grateful Dead during the Fare Thee Well shows in Chicago.
This year’s tour will start a little later than usual (July 21st), but the shows will span the whole country this time around. Phish will kick off the summer in Oregon, followed by California, and then head back across the country to the east coast. Phish will play two nights in Oregon, Georgia, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Just like last year, they will end the tour with three big nights at Dick’s in Colorado.
The highlight of the tour this summer is Phish’s 10th festival, Magnaball. The festival will take place from August 21st- 23rd in Watkins Glen, New York. Based on their previous festivals, there is a lot of hype about Magnaball this year. Watkins Glen is full of camping sites for all the phans that plan on staying for all three days. Tickets for Magnaball will be available on March 20th at noon EST.
We’ve heard a lot about Trey’s strict training regiment in preparation for the Grateful Dead Fare Thee Well Shows. Perhaps we will see a new, evolved Trey this summer. Between the Fare Thee Well shows in Chicago, Magnaball, and a three night Dick’s closer, we’re all extremely excited for this tour. Put your ticket requests in soon so you can be sure you won’t miss any of the shows you plan on attending this summer!
