Finally getting close to finishing this sleeve. Very different and interesting elements in this. Freehand, fillagree, a lot of negative space, Jewish star at the top, freehand as well, elephant and some south East Asian influence. Coming together nicely. Being an expert and always studying some many different things allow me to bring together some of my coolest prices.

"Yi Sun-sin" I had the pleasure of tattooing this beautiful Admidral YI SUN SHIN when I was in Holland. Client wanted something adian and I asked him if I could do something Korean and he said sure if it looks good. I'm thankful he gave me the opportunity and trusted me to display Korean art to the world and on his body. Thank you very much. (Hunminjeongeum: 이순신; hanja: 李舜臣; April 28, 1545 – December 16, 1598) was a Korean naval commander, famed for his victories against the Japanese navy during the Imjin war in the Joseon Dynasty, and is well-respected for his exemplary conduct on and off the battlefield not only by Koreans, but by Japanese admirals as well.[1] Military historians have placed General Yi Sun-Sin on par with Admiral Horatio Nelson as arguably the greatest naval commander in history for his undefeated record against seemingly insurmountable odds despite no background in naval training.[2][3][4] His title of Samdo Sugun Tongjesa (삼도 수군 통제사 ; 三道水軍統制使), literally meaning "Naval Commander of the Three Provinces," was the title for the commander of the Korean navy until 1896.

Had the pleasure to tattoo this Korean inspired tribal tattoo from the other Korean tribal I done in Holland years ago. My client searched for the best tattoo artist in la and trusted me with the job. I had to freehand it due to its position at the ball of the shoulder. Really happy how it came out and fit the space perfectly.
