Gonna be honest I really hope Phenomaman becomes a love interest cause I mean I’m obsessed with that heart broken depressed alien who has terrible social skills.

Some Headcanon ideas:

Robert having to deal with Phenomaman in his depression state because Blonde Blazer/Mandy told him to and him not realizing that this would be the beginning of a godlike alien falling in love with him.

Phenomaman takes Robert’s advice of finding a new “passion” which ends up being him. Robert thinks he’s helping Phenomaman come to peace with the break up but reality is he is who Phenomaman wants now.

Phenomaman likes that Robert talks and treats him like a “human” and “person” which he takes it as a “he thinks we’re equals which must mean he thinks of us as partners”.

Lowkey everyone in the office notices Phenomaman floating around Robert cheerfully and giving physical affection. Robert thinks it’s just his way of saying thank you and getting over his depression.

It starts to become apparent when Robert receives continuous gifts on his desk which are stereotypical romance gifts “human lovers gift eachother” such as; flowers, chocolates, stuffed animals, love letters etc.

Robert tries to tell Phenomaman that while he is flattered it’s an HR violation and he thinks Phenomaman is moving to fast with this. Phenomaman thinks Robert is trying to tell him to focus on it after work so that work doesn’t get affected.

At one point Robert tried to get Phenomaman to find other “passions” by taking him to bars/parks to meet people, out to McDonald’s to try food to focus on, and even hobbies to try for him to focus his attention elsewhere. All efforts fail as he thinks of Robert’s attempts as dates.

Blonde Blazer/Mandy has a talk with Robert stating while she respects Robert as a friend/coworker she thinks the relationship with him and Phenomaman is inappropriate to which Robert stated he did what she asked but now his passion is him. He tries telling her that he has done everything to make him move on but nothing works.

Robert decides to somewhat give in since he’s been lonely for a while a wants company and for him to take it slow. It ends with Robert’s new bed being broken and a noise complaint from the landlord.

I got bored and figured I’d write more on this ship since it’s like my fav rn.

Robert opening up about his childhood which Phenomaman takes in and comforts him which Robert isn’t used to but likes the feeling of being understood.

Phenomaman telling Robert about his home planet and traditions and it turns out the Robert finds out Phenomaman’s planet might be evil. (Thought it be funny if they were like viltrumites and Phenomaman is just a chill good boy who likes helping people)

Both their homes are “minimalist” being Robert’s depressed home and Phenomaman’s not understanding of what homes need furniture.

Phenomaman is intrigued by Beef and how a creature can be so round and adorable.

Robert has had to tell Phenomaman to stop bringing their relationship to work and to stop telling people they’re intimate. (Phenomaman during work on the channel has stated to “making love” with Robert leading to everyone losing they’re shit and telling HR violation jokes/comments the entire week)

Chase has told Robert to be careful and while he loves/respects him he’s worried about getting extraterrestrial STDs and about him getting a “unrelated work injury” which Robert wished Phenomaman didn’t tell people they “made love”.

Blonde Blazer/Mandy being supportive of them and she tries showing support by leaving a rainbow cookie on Robert’s desk with “love is love” on it. (Wanted to put this in because my nana did this to me when I came out and bought everything rainbow).

I’m currently bored and have like a bunch of clustered thoughts and decided to make another list of stuff. I may work on a fic soon.

Robert usually takes a bus to work/home and Phenomaman finds out so he decides to fly Robert home and to work as a way of “thanking him” (but in reality Phenomaman just likes flying his favorite small person around)

Phenomaman trying to find a way to confess to Robert and the Z-team decide to take him on a bar outing. Phenomaman after a few drinks (more like a few drums) admits he has feelings for Robert and yet has no way of how to “court a person” each of them give him ideas after ideas. One of the ideas from Invisigal is to go to Robert’s apartment with a jukebox playing some romance pop song and confesses to him (since she saw it work in a movie/thinks it be funny).

The Z Team help him in this instance while all intoxicated; Punch up encourages him to toss a pebble at his balcony window, Prism states to have the jukebox playing the newest hit love song, Flambae suggest standing on the hood of a car so he can see him, and Malevola tells him to say how he feels to him loud and with passion. With all this they stand by an alley and watch as Phenomaman throws a rock at Robert’s balcony door which he ends up breaking Robert’s balcony door, standing on top of some random person’s car which ends up being crushed with sirens going off, jukebox blasting the most loud lewd music as He shouts for Robert saying he wishes to make love with him and that with him his heart and gentiles are compatible with him as the block start shouting at him to “stfu”. Robert comes out and sees all this and is like “What the hell are you doing!” As the Z-team give Phenomaman a thumbs up. (Robert is pissed that he is going to have to explain to his landlord why the balcony window is shattered)

Phenomaman telling stories about his heroism to Robert and telling him how dangerous and chaotic being a hero is as Robert nods his head knowing damn well how hard it is being that he’s done it for 15 years. (He just nods and pretends to be semi impressed to not hurt his feelings/being incognito)

Had a funny idea of Robert introducing Phenomaman to video games and him ending up with a gaming addiction which Robert has to take the PlayStation away since Phenomaman isn’t completing his missions.

Slight nsfw joke; Phenomaman discovering Valentine’s Day and the Z-team telling him it’s both a love/sex holiday and he researches what gift would be suitable for Robert, he ends up on a lingerie website and orders Robert a set and has it on his desk thinking this will give him a date with Robert. Instead it gave him a date with HR and Robert thinking it was a gag gift.

Robert shaving Phenomaman’s mutton chops as a way of helping a friend get out of depression. Phenomaman has never been “primped by another being” and takes it as a sign of affection and intimacy. (He purposely afterwards lets it grow back so Robert can help him and lies stating that due to his strength he is unable to hold a shaver).

Another NSFWish joke: I can see the Z-team talking about their intimacy life and Phenomaman intrigued wanting to learn how to “woo” Robert. They all give him advice such as “giving love taps”, “saying what you want to them”, and giving physical signs and contact to show what he wants. Phenomaman has been sent to HR 20 times in a week.

Robert flirting back with Phenomaman and Phenomaman not understanding pickup lines. Robert is embarrassed while Phenomaman is confused how he is a parking ticket with fines written all over him.

What if Phenomaman met Robert as Mecha Man and worked with him. I thought this would be an interesting AU where Phenomaman is intrigued with Robert being a hero without powers.

Like Phenomaman would meet Mecha Man and say “You’re a small human hero with no powers or abilities? How does such a being become a hero?” He’d genuinely ask but Robert would roll his eyes thinking he’s just another super making fun of him for not having powers.

For instance Phenomaman would like follow him around asking him how “someone as small and powerless as you be so powerful” and Robert would just say some snarky comment about his superpower being not having a superpower.

Phenomaman being a super powerful alien would definitely make him fascinated by Robert and I feel like he’d have admired him and saw his devotion in being a hero. I can definitely see Phenomaman having a conflict of having two passions both being Blonde Blazer and Mecha Man (in other words a bi panic).
