And I'm sure that as a teenager and in her early 20s she was using some pharma-drugs to feel euphoria, like an enormous amount of pregabalin or just anything that could make her feelings go numb (it only made things worse)

But seriously I think he would occasionally smoke, especially during the most stressful situations (his whole life is a bunch of stress but u get me). Drinking? Same thing. But I do see him in a situation when he would be drinking non-stop for some days just to cope.
P.S: He smokes either the most boring crap in the world (the cheapest, of course) or treats cigarettes as a luxury item and buys something tasty and expensive

He gives off Reddit vibes sometimes, and I had this silly thought that he and Invisigal could argue there without even knowing who they were talking to. Admins ended up banning Invisigal from the subreddit after she called him a âfucking beta male leftieâ

Like the title says, I'll be saying (solely based on vibes; if I wanted I could do an even deeper dive on the species they'd be, but I'm really lazy) what species I believe some members of the Dispatch cast would be.

Dog.
I feel like he'd be a dog, more especifically a mutt or mongrel (I love mutts). "Bitch".
From my point of view, Dispatch felt like a badly socialised stray being brought in then socialising (in a very, very simplified way); also I feel like Robert has 'em puppy eyes, really, he reminds me a lot of a dog in every way (then again, I'm biased).
I feel like he'd be some sort of jack russel terrier (compact, strong, resillient) and border collie (smart, hardworking, athletic).
As mechaman (in some sort of anthro escenario, perhaps), he'd probably lean more towards the Border collie aspect, as these dogs sound more serious and "threatening".

Atlas or barbary lions have really spread manes; and Flambae is a hairy guy.
I also like the fact that feline musculature is often really easy to trace, especifically in lions, which once again reminds me of lions. For what I also know, their hunting method is mostly based on "explosive strenght" rather than chase, and in his initial stats he has a 4 on combat (but also a 3 on movement... let's ignore that.)
Also... they live in prides (be who you are for your pride!... bad joke.), and male lions are known to get involved in homosexual intercourse (which may be for dominance or bonds, but it's still gay).
And I feel like lions would be very flamboyant animals + have been associated with masculinity for a lot of time.
I'm also a sucker for lions with manes made of fire.

I like cats a lot, and she is a cat. I accept critizism on anything in here except this choice.
Why? I don't really know; maybe because of the "cats and dogs don't get along" (but they can), "you disobeyed a direct order" (cats are seen as "independent" and do as they please, but can become loyal and somewhat obedient if you earn it), disappearing whenever she has issues ("scaredy cat").
Along with the, getting close but not too much, being sneaky, being seen as "bad" or "evil" before knowing her (even if, fair, people has reason to believe she's a bad person. But this point stands.), being judged... And all of it revolves around the same. She's also hyper sassy and I believe she'd be the typical character to move dragging the tip of her tail under others' chins.
I also want to specify that her fur would be "smoked" (hairs have grey and black "bands", in a way that depending on the angle you look at it it looks a color or another) because I believe her powers have to do something with how light hits her? Invisibility is just light acting funky.
Either a cat or a wolf. The wolf is because of her abilities and the whole "big bad wolf", evil, always bad, never good... Yes I am just remembering that now. I messed up.
Let's ignore that.

Dog.
Another dog, I love dogs. She gets to be a golden retriever (shocking).
Not only because of the color of the fur or the fact that she's optimistic, but also because these dogs are employed in hunting and tracking, which in my opinion is not expected for a "cuddly family friend" (I did not expect Blazer to be the one saving Robert from Shroud in Retrospective, and then drop an absolute masterpiece of a line: "I can see I'm outnumbered, that eventually I would fall. But, by my read, I'm taking a lot of you with me. So, all of you can leave now... Or half of you can die here.")
It brings me once again to the dog Robert, pack and all those stuff. Also reminds me of the dog/cats argument regarding Invisigal; "dogs are better" "cats are better" in a way that people fight over "Robert should be with Blazer" and "Robert should be with invisigal".
To conclude, I think that when she removes the collar, she'd be a labrador. They're smaller and also come in dark brown.
As a bonus, I wanted to add a rushed drawing of these "headcanons" or "alternative universe".
