Awaiting those who are worthy, Phenegemon sits at the grand entrance to the tomb of the Bards, where the secrets of this enigmatic group - seemingly lost to time - will be revealed to those bold enough to enter. Sand and dust fill this derelict entryway, an impossible space given the narrowness of the structure outside. Without the heat of the desert sun, it's almost unbearably cold within.

Phenegemon, specifically, is unique in that it doesn't travel in groups like other sphinx or hide its presence from people - rather it is stationary and confrontational to those who approach, but never harmful. Many believe that sphinx steal faces, eat people, and can read minds, thus they're usually targets for dragon hunters.
