30. One thing you wish you could change about your life: I wish I had come out sooner. Like, I used to go to a Catholic school, but no one was all that homophobic. There were these two guys who'd say they were soooo gay all the time (It bugged me a bit, but hey, what can you do?). So in about May, I had been starting to realize that I probably wasn't straight, but wasn't exactly sure how queer I was. So this one day, one of the kids was acting all stereotypical gay and stuff. The next day, he's back to his usual self, so I jokingly asked, "So, straight again, then?" to which he responded, "It's called bisexual." I knew he was joking. I knew I wasn't ready to come out yet. But part of me wanted so badly to just say to him right then and there, "Oh, you're bi, too?" and just see his reaction when he realizes that he used LGBTQA+ identities as a fad right to the face of an actual member of the community.
