Wat maakt Pheed zo anders van Twitter en Instagram?
Met Pheed kon je tekstuele updates, foto’s en video’s plaatsen en zelfs livestreamen. Maar met deze applicatie kan je ook geld vragen voor toegang tot jouw channel. Volgens de makers wordt hierdoor content gemaakt van hoge kwaliteit.
Ook vele celebs waren in deze applicatie geïnteresseerd. De website straalde alle sinds professionaliteit uit en het was zeer gebruiksvriendelijk. Elke Pheed kon je voorzien van een copyright als je dat wou.
Het blijkt niet gelukt te zijn. Persoonlijk had ik nog nooit gehoord over Pheed tot ik een blogpost van 2012 las over deze applicatie. We zijn ondertussen 2016…
Ik denk dat mensen gewoon geen geld willen geven voor anderen te zien livestreamen. Hiervoor heb je Youtube en Youtube is helemaal gratis. We hebben al zo danig veel social media mogelijkheden: Instagram is voor foto’s, Facebook vooral voor statussen en chatten, twitter is ook voor korte statussen en Youtube is voor livestreamen en video’s. Ik denk dat de mensen geen nood hebben aan een applicatie die alles combineert.
