I mean like 90 percent of Peevils species are technically half breeds, but pharax half breeds still look like pharax. They just have appearances that resemble bugs native to the location their father is from, so a pharax whose father was a velm might resemble a scarab beetle or some other desert bug

I would lose it if someone drew pharax dancing The workers are a bit smaller and bulkier than queens, but they all have the same three eyes, pointy ears, mandables, and wings. The eyes, wings, and mandables can be any color but it’s always the same color for all three. Also they are exclusively female

Tiny squishy grub babies. No wingies yet. All the babies are the same at hatching, and the ones who are fed special royal jelly become queens, just like with actual bees.

Pharax communicate with each other via a language of shrill chirps, shrieks, squeaks, and mandable clicking. Bug noises!
