I could've sworn I've posted this song before, but you know how functional Tumblr's search function is.
Aside from "rest in pieces" being one of my favorite phrases to say when watching crime drama TV shows, this song is interesting given that it's a heavy metal song with lyrics that sound like they're straight out of a woman's country song (aka the best kind of country music there is). But NO, instead you're offered this all wrapped up brilliantly in a badass heavy metal song. Bless Phantom Blue.
P.S. I'm seriously wondering: ARE there any heavy metal songs prior to this (from Built to Perform, released in 1993) BY A WOMAN/WOMEN that's about killing her cheating spouse? There are a few women pre-Phantom Blue in heavy metal whose discography I have not delved very deep into, so maybe...but if y'all know of any songs like this one [by a woman/women], PLEASE do add or recommend!
