Green Hermit (Phaethornis guy)
is a large species of hummingbird native to Central and northern South America. Like several other hummingbird species the males have a long tail which is used in display. This species actually displays in a communal lek with males competing for a female. They can often be seen near water/hilly areas in primary rainforests, but due to deforestation they are forced to inhabit secondary forests.
