Almost 9 years ago, on the recommendation of a certain friend on ye olde g plus, I read Pandora Hearts. 104 chapters of a square enix shonen g-fantasy manga, published from 2009 to 2015. It took me 3 days and 3 nights. I was in session break so I didn't do much except read and eat all day (er... rather forget to eat too, I was so absorbed). I remember finishing at 3:30am on 26th September 2018, and it changing my life forever, absolutely no hyperbole. I keep reading and rereading PH,analyzing and reading meta,and thinking again and again,and feeling this endless,boundless longing and yearning. A story that ended 11yrs ago, has me in a grip constantly

PH is what caused me to try to improve my art,and much more. As you may or may not know,I come from a "save money however possible,if you have it doesn't mean you can waste" kinda background, and until then never bought anything anime/manga related. In fact,I first self printed and bound the fallen syndicate scans of PH into diy books (aka how I got into bookbinding). But going into university,I started saving lunch money to collect the Artbook There Is,then the volumes, then merch once I started earning. With the lack of official merch of course, I was compelled learn multiple crafts including bookbinding, sculpture,resin work, music box tuning, plush sewing,hell even hand drawn animation. Why? Love. Pandora hearts, the story that is love at its core.

I am eternally grateful for this beautiful, "ridiculous fairy tale", this litany of love(neutral statement).
