Still working on what I’ve decided to call the “Production Bible.” I’ve got 5/13 full character sheets done (minus cutie marks and color, I’ll color them once scanned and also their cutie marks aren’t described in the book) and I realized that that’s a lot of work. I wanted to do full character reference sheets for Midnight, Marmalade, Daisy, Blackjack, textbook, rivets, ductape, overmare, gin rummy, p-21, and skotchtape, but we’ll see-It’s already been a lot of work and I’ve only got P-21, Blackjack, Daisy, Midnight, and Gin Rummy done.
In any case, I need at least a quick reference sketch of 32 different ponies. Most of them aren’t that important, but because of what happens to the stable later, I want to make certain that they are all accurate and that i’ll be able to draw them later should I get that far into the comic adaptation.
I’ve also decided to take some liberties with how I present the characters. I want to make each of them seem alive in some way, you know? like they are just background ponies, but they aren’t NPCs. They’ve each got their own stories going on, and I want that to bleed through a little. I’m also not going to do the first person thing super religiously, because I DON’T HAVE TO. yay comics!
