a few turnaround sheets i did for Herb, my main little plague doctor character! 

Maybe leaving her costume choice to the last second wasn't the best idea, but to be fair, she'd had what felt like more homework than was possible to finish due the past few days, so it pretty much left the afternoon of the scheduled costume night at Club Insomnia.  Pulling out her cell phone, she scrolled down the list of contacts. It was short, and she was lamenting the lack of connections in her life momentarily. She had no idea who to call to relieve the stress that always ensued with shopping. Currently Amber was just walking in laps around the costume store, not even knowing where to being. The first costume she'd seen had been a black pleather bikini, marked as "Biker Girl" for god-only-knows-what-reason and she'd been befuddled since.

She never did really girly outfits, not because she had an objection to them, but just never really had a reason to switch from the type of clothes she wore when running around outside like a manic child too the skirts and heels most started getting into around middle school. Her life was a little preoccupied at the time and pants were a lot more comfortable to travel in.

Scrunching her nose at her phone screen in frustration, she turned the device off and pocketed it. Looks like she's going at this alone. Amber turned toward the costume racks again, as if something magical would pop up and be helpful, but no such thing happened. Instead a certain person caught her eye, only a a dozen feet away.
