The trending video on Grindelwald’s Pfingstegg Rodelbahn is continuing to be shared all over Facebook.
Grindelwald is located in the center of Switzerland along the northernmost area of the Swiss Alps. This 2,460-foot slide carries tourists down the Swiss Alps on one of the most scenic rides they will ever experience.
Guests get to take a gondola ride to Pfingstegg where they will find a traditional Swiss Restaurant and can enjoy a spectacular meal on the geranium filled terrace.
Once the guests are ready to leave, they have the option of taking the gondola back down to the town of Grindelwald, or they can take the speedy rodelbahn.
As a cheaper alternative than taking the gondola, guests can hike up to Pfingstegg using the multiple hiking trails available. This also offers a scenic route for guests, but it is highly recommended to test out the rodelbahn on the way down!
Unfortunately, this attraction is only open during the summer and a majority of the fall due to the harsh winters Switzerland experiences.
