Under normal circumstances, Rose would probably be smart enough to consider this a ridiculously bad idea. Not because she felt that she couldnât handle what was certain to be the outcome of this, but simply because her life was already in ruins so why burn it to the ground more. But, true to her self destructive nature, when things were bad, Rose made them worse.Â
Hell, she wasnât even sure why the hell she cared so damn much. Maybe it was cause Leo had proven to be an unexpected friend. Maybe it was because of her discussion with Lark. Maybe it was because when she couldnât fix her own problems, she tried to fix others as a way to make herself feel better. Or maybe, and most likely, she was just high and drunk enough to not give a single shit right now. So, Peytonâs drink order in hand, Rose approached the table Peyton was sitting at with a guy that was definitely not Leo. âSomehow, Iâm not surprised that Leo, your boyfriendâs not the one youâre here with.â Rose snipped. placing the drink on the table messily enough that some of it sloshed and spilled some on the table. âOops, sorry,â Rose apologized mockingly, clearly having done that on purpose. With a shrug, Rose began to back away from the table, âI was gonna come here and give you shit... but I realized something that Leo hasnât yet... youâre so not worth it, so Iâm gonna go. Enjoy your night.â With an eye roll, Rose turned on her heel, ready to head back behind the bar and finish her shift. @peytonainsworthâ
