At Disneywold Sean and I went on this amazingly cute ride, Peter Pans Flight, where everyone boards there own ship and then is taken across in the air to view scenes from the movie Peter Pan. The sculptures and artwork were breathtaking, even the ship itself was very cool. It was a lot like the ET ride at Universal. Among the mermaids from the movie they sculpted was Ariel from The Little Mermaid which we both thought was very cool. The ride made me want to do a lot more artwork from the movie.
When I draw Captain Hook I really loved how menacing he came out and it made me want to draw some other villains. I have some Maleficent and Ursala drawings on the backburner now, but Captain Hook will always be my first. My only bone of contention with the first drawing is I was afraid to use the pastel on the facial features for Wendy and Hook because the details are so miniscule and the pastel smudges easily. Does anyone have any tips?
