Sometimes I am intrigued at his teamâs ability to handle things like this so quietly. I mean ESNY wasnât a single (at least I think) so itâs not like itâs hitting the airwaves and causing a stir. But in an era where orig artists are publicly seeking credit for the work when referenced, itâs interesting what does and doesnât make headlines and how itâs handled differently across the spectrum.
So true! No fuss whatsoever! I suppose the fact that Baby Blue is more than 50 years old and poor Peter Ham is dead nearly as long means there's no one out there to personally take issue or make a fuss about it. And as you said it's not a well known song, and not a vocal melody etc. My guess is that it was probably agreed quietly, without any legal proceedings or combative negotiations. But still...it's interesting!
