scopOphilic_documentary_116 (2010) - This hasn't made the headlines, so:
Joey Molland, guitarist, songwriter, and last surviving member of BADFINGER passed (June 21, 1947 - March 1, 2025). Joey Molland carried the Badfinger torch until the end. Their hits included: Come and Get It, Day After Day, Baby Blue, and, of course Without You (later covered by Harry Nilsson and Mariah Carey) which would place them on the Rock and Roll Heaven landscape forever.
They had a tumultuous career with skyrocketing highs vaulting out of The Beatles record label: Apple to produce hit after hit. Only be to slammed with legal, managerial and financial issues which resulted in their main songwriters: Tom Evans and Pete Ham committing suicide. Their whole catalog is worth a listen but the first four albums are pretty stellar! RIP Joey.
